‘Pow-boarding’ has all the vibe and culture of hanging ten.
Filmmakers and snowboarders Forrest Shearer, Kael Martin, Griffin Siebert, Alex Yoder, and Nick Russell embarked on a pow tour of Japan. There, they discovered a lifestyle beyond the sport. They learned that Hokkaido style means going up the mountain as well as down.
It means everything from food, to meditation, stretching, and a post-snowboard hot-spring soak. Together these components contribute to a true appreciation of a day on the slopes.
