Auto Cameraman — Dubbed a “robotic mount,” the yellow AIMe product can pan and tilt automatically to track motion and help you film, hands-off. It follows the every move of a subject to properly frame him or her in action (e.g., a skier, surfer, etc.). All that is required is that they wear a tiny included infrared-equipped remote beacon.

The product, due to market this June from JigaBot for $299.99, works like a robotic tripod. It tracks smoothly with internal steel ball bearings that let the unit (with a camera attached on top) spin and tilt to 240 degrees for a large range of capture.

Solo shooters and anyone who needs a hands-off filming solution should be pleased with the potential of the AIMe. See the video below for a demonstration of the JigaBot unit’s tracking moves in action.
