We’ve seen the ingenious SwissRoomBox products for vans. Now the company unveils a car version. The “camper-car in a suitcase” product includes a bed, table, storage, chairs, and other necessities to turn your hatchback into a tiny motorhome.

The company cites the modular system converts a car to a camper in five minutes. All your sleeping, cooking and eating tasks can take place in a spot usually reserved for luggage and gear.

The RoomBox FreeTech product costs about $2,200. It can install in most cars, the company cites.

SwissRoomBox got its inspiration from Swiss Army Knives as well as Legos. “Most adults were children who had certainly played with the famous LEGO. The concept of the SwissRoomBox is in the same spirit — it is a modular system in which all the pieces fit together.”
