We followed three bikers through the frozen urban jungle of Minneapolis for insight on what it takes to ride in the cold. Each segment of the film has footage captured in 360 degrees with a new type of video camera called the V.360° Camera from VSN Mobil.

“Rules Of The (Winter) Road” was shot and edited by Erik J. Nelson. Thanks to riders Callie Bensel, Phil Velo, the Freewheel Bike Yeti, Winter Bike Expo 2014 attendees, and GearJunkie staffers.

Featured bikes and gear: Surly Ice Cream Truck, All-City Nature Boy, Schwinn Winter Franken-Fixie (with 45NRTH Xerxes studded tires). Pogies (may or may not have food inside!) by Gupgum Gear. And a V.360° Camera to capture it all!
