On Monday, Breckenridge Ski Resort became the first in the state of Colorado to reach 300 inches of snowfall this season. Skiers and snowboarders everywhere look forward to the much-anticipated milestone as a sign of really great skiing.

Breckenridge topped the milestone with 311 inches of snowfall as of Monday evening. The Resort has over 2,900 acres of skiing across 187 trails and is ranked as the sixth-largest resort in the U.S.

However, with Colorado’s record warm temps in 2019, then record snow this February, several resorts were in the running for the snowfall achievement.

  • Winter Park Resort: 286 total inches
  • Vail Resort: 256 total inches

Breckenridge Resort’s snowfall sat at 318 inches at the time this article was written.
