If you ride a bike at night, traffic can be scary. Lots of gear is available to enhance your nighttime visibility, but the latest product to make you shine comes from an automotive manufacturer.
Volvo’s idea to help cyclists be seen is called LifePaint. The spray paint is invisible during the day, but it reflects directional lights like those from car headlights at night.
You can coat your bike, clothing, or pretty much anything with the spray to make an eye-catching reflective surface.
The caveat? It only last for 10 days at a time and washes off with water, so reapplying after a rainy commute is a must.
Volvo says you can apply it to any fabric and even to dog collars.

The biggest challenge right now might be simply getting your hands on some. Volvo is only offering LifePaint in six London-area bike shops. Wider release will depend on how it fares in the test markets.
