The beer, called the Lollygagger Pale Ale, goes on sale this week. Its allotted 5 percent fund will be put toward the building of the Duluth Traverse, a 100+ mile system of singletrack mountain bike trails across the city.

Loll Designs, based in Duluth, makes high-end outdoor furniture from recycled plastic. The company has partnered with the Bent Paddle brewery to get this project off the ground.

Over the years Loll has donated $60,000 to the local biking organization, the Cyclists Of Gitchee Gumee Shores, or COGGS.
