Swiftwick Medical Heroes Socks

This week, Swiftwick dropped a sock tribute to our medical heroes nationwide who have been supporting us throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The VISION Medical Heroes socks ($20) are made with high-quality wicking fibers and moderate compression to support long days on your feet, no matter the job at hand. They’re available at 50% off while supplies last.

Filson Alcan Moto Gear

Filson designed its latest collection with motorcycle riders in mind. The dual-sport Alcan Moto MX-9 Helmet ($265) uses a lightweight polycarbonate shell, MIPS technology, a scratch-resistant, anti-fog adjustable visor with airflow vents, and Filson logo graphics to stand out from the crowd. The helmet is designed for on- or off-road use.

Limited-Edition Ooni Axe

Ooni Pizza Ovens now makes an axe, and we think it’s fantastic. The Ooni Axe ($299) is a full-size axe handmade by a British blacksmith, built for chopping even the thickest logs. Each axe starts with an original ash tree handle and a high-grade steel axehead forged by hand, heat, and hammer. Each axehead is hand-struck between 10,000 and 15,000 times. The handle is stained, and the axe comes with a leather sheath.

All-City Bicycle Cosmic Stallion GRX

All-City dropped its popular new all-road Cosmic Stallion GRX in a new color — Currant and Cream. The refreshed Cosmic Stallion GRX ($2,799) has an air-hardened custom steel frame and tubing, a carbon fork, and Shimano GRX brake and derailleur components. It can clear tires measuring 700 x 47 mm, 700 x 43 mm with fenders, or 650b x 42 mm. And, of course, check out that gorgeous new paint job.

Polar Verity Sense HR Sensor

The Polar Verity Sense ($90) is Polar’s newest optical heart-rate sensor, aiming to be more versatile than chest-strap monitors. An alternative to chest-strap sensors or wrist-based devices, the Verity Sense can measure heart rate from the arm or the temple. The Verity Sense pairs through Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, and its battery life is 8 hours on a single charge than Polar’s OH1 and H10.

The Claw 2.0 Multitool

claw 2.0 tool

The Claw 2.0 is the world’s second-smallest multitool — meaning it’s tiny but also packed with capability. Taking after the original Claw created in 2018, the Claw 2.0 ($29) has new features like a pry tool, a hex tool, and a bottle opener. The end of the tool was redesigned, and the tool is made only with 30-, 60-, and 90-degree angles for strength and symmetry.

Cotopaxi Teca Calido Jacket

Cotopaxi Teca Hooded Reversible Jacket

Cotopaxi’s latest Teca series jacket is here — the Teca Cálido Reversible ($150). This hooded reversible jacket has 100% repurposed fabric and 100% recycled polyester insulation. It’s lightweight, reversible, and versatile. It also has pockets on both sides. And unlike many Teca jackets, this one is insulated, providing warmth in colder months as well. It’s available in men’s and women’s sizing.

Klean Kanteen TKWide Bottle and Caps

Klean Kanteen is updating its bottle options. The insulated TKWide bottle ($33) can keep contents not just cold but iced for up to 63 hours. The wide-mouth bottle comes with two major updates: a chip-resistant matte finish and a new Twist Cap. Other cap options include the Straw Cap or Café Cap. The new bottles come in interesting colors like Purple Potion and Tofu.

Peak Design Tech Pouch

Peak Design’s travel pack collection includes this handy Tech Pouch ($60). The pouch has origami-style pockets to make the most of space while keeping items organized. It also has elastic accessory loops, an external zip pocket with a cable pass-through for charging, exterior handles, and a clamshell-style opening. The 2L pouch has a weatherproof zipper and a DWR coating. Check out the line’s new color options.

Fields Outfitting Gaucho Workwear

Fields Outfitting just got its start as a brand over the 2020 holidays. Its Triple Pleat Field pants ($130) — and the whole brand, actually — are a take on Argentinian gaucho-style workwear. The field pants are made with cotton and elastane in small batches in Buenos Aires. They’ve got stylish touches like buttoned cuffs and patterned cloth on the trim and pockets.

SNÜX Heated Ski Boot Cover

snüx boot cover

Are your feet cold on the slopes? SNÜX is here with a solution it claims is better than heated boots or socks (pricey), or any DIY handwarmer solution. Rather than using batteries, the SNÜX covers ($86) work by using a thermal fabric it says is “tested by NASA.” The nanomembrane fiber boosts and retains heat. Simply and snugly wrap the covers over your boots. Another perk: Battery-operated heated socks/gloves may interfere with avalanche beacons. SNÜX won’t.

Boreal Vehicles Roof Rack

Boreal Vehicles Roof Rack on Sprinter van

Boreal Vehicles may be new to the automotive scene, but the team has years of experience in the outdoor sports industry.

The Boreal Vehicles Roof Rack ($650) is its first product and is available for Toyota Tacomas and Sprinters so far. The racks are made from all aluminum and stainless steel to withstand harsh conditions (like the ones in Boreal’s home of Minnesota).

We got our hands on the Tacoma Roof Rack and will have a full review available soon.
