Ford Performance teamed up with ARB 4×4 to create off-road accessories for a variety of Ford vehicles. Best of all, the partnership kicks off with a new winch bumper for the North American version of the Ford Ranger.
Make that Ranger roar! Ford Performance, maker of performance parts for Ford vehicles, and ARB 4×4, the Australian company that has been making off-road accessories for a wide range of vehicles around the globe for 45 years, began collaborating on a full range of new off-road accessories for Ford cars and trucks.
While the first project offers up a front bumper for the Ford Ranger, Ford said, “Additional components designed to work with other Ford trucks and SUVs will be announced soon.”
ARB 4×4 makes a full host of products for off-road vehicles and is best known for bumpers, lockers, compressors, roof racks, and skid plates.
Ford Ranger Bumper, Winch
This team-up’s first product is the Ford Performance by ARB winch-capable front bumper. It will grace the North American Ford Ranger. The new bumper will be a dealer-installed option for the Ranger in 2020 and will have a $1,495 price tag.
A powder-coated steel bolt-on unit, the bumper can be installed on any Ranger configuration. It will bolt right up to the existing chassis mounting points on the new truck.
Not only does the new bumper retain all of the Ranger’s original safety systems and sensors, but it also meets all crash test standards. And that’s something ARB bumpers are known for, as many aftermarket bumper manufacturers, especially in North America, don’t.
Engineered and designed for real-world off-road use, the bumper is a versatile accessory. It offers solid recovery and jacking points, and mounting options for a wide range of accessories. Besides easily accommodating a winch with quality winch access, it also has an antenna and lightbar mounts.

More Accessories on the Horizon
For sure this looks to be just the start of the Ford Performance ARB 4×4 collaboration. As you can see in the press images, the brands are already developing other accessories.
These initial images show ditch light brackets on the hood. The design looks to utilize factory mounting points, so as not to have to drill any new holes.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this collaboration yields in the future for the best-selling F-150 and especially the forthcoming Bronco. Maybe we’ll even see some cool stuff for the Mustang-inspired crossover SUV that will be revealed soon.
