Nationwide Treasure Hunt! 'Checkpoint: SPOT' Launch

“Get the clue, find your coordinates, and head out on a SPOT adventure to win!” This summer, join Spot LLC and GearJunkie.com on a nationwide treasure hunt. Part online game, part participatory adventure, follow the ‘Checkpoint: SPOT’ clues to geographic locations outdoors around the USA.

Once you’re registered, players log-in and then “check-in” at the ‘Checkpoint: SPOT’ locations to claim a prize. It’s that easy. We have prizes from Wenger, Wigwam (a year’s supply of socks!), Salomon, Kelty, Suunto, Wolverine, Albabici (SCI’CON bike case!), Easton, Timberland, and Gerber. All prize packages are worth a minimum of $500.

For now, you must own a SPOT device to play. The promotion runs from July 28 to October 31, 2011. Soon, we will open the contest up to smartphone users as well. Good luck!
