Lights installed behind frozen waterfall for Trippy scene

Ice climbing meets. . . um, stage lighting and theatrics? Check out this crazy scene from Minnesota last weekend, where the organizers of a climbing festival at the Sandstone Ice Park used plastic “rope lights” connected to a car battery to illuminate frozen vertical ice and bring out the nocturnal, axe-wielding hordes. —Stephen Regenold
