‘Hiking gave me the ability to be the person I always was: a confident person that was capable of doing anything.’

Will “Akuna” Robinson stars in Merrell’s film “Akuna Hikes.” The film documents Robinson’s journey to healing and hiking after experiencing PTSD. Directed by Stept Studios, “Akuna Hikes” is a beautiful portrait of Robinson, from his struggles to his triumph.

Robinson served in the U.S. Army during the Iraq War in 2003. After returning home, he has since hiked the Appalachian and Pacific Crest trails. Now, he has his sights on the Continental Divide Trail.
