Emil Johansson’s Winning Red Bull Joyride Run Will Make Your Head Spin

At the Super Bowl of Slopestyle MTB this weekend, nobody racked up more points than Johansson.

“Emil Johansson, on course, do not blink,” the announcers advised right before the Swedish star dropped into slopestyle’s biggest stage.

What followed was outright nasty. Johansson stacked up combos as fast as he’s been stacking up Crankworx wins at the Joyride on Saturday, on his way to another first-place finish.

He packed an early half cab bar-spin down the opening step down, a 360 double tail whip into an opposite 360 windshield-wiper on the four pack, and a double downside whip of the log jam into a ridiculous run.

A score of 94.6 from the judges proved plenty good enough for his eighth straight Crankworx slopestyle victory. Relive it here.
