You’ve never seen tricks like this before. You’ve never seen a video like this before.

We’ve all seen stoke films before — and somehow, they never seem to get old. But the latest cut from adidas 5.10 — “Wild West” — presents freeride and slopestyle from Tom Van Steenbergen in the trippiest, eye-melting cut we’ve ever seen.

Directed by Calvin Huth, “Wild West” wasn’t just about capturing Van Steenbergen ripping tricks the world has never seen (although it did that too). It set out to provide a “visual representation of Tom’s personality on and off the bike.”

And, uh, if that’s the case, Van Steenbergen lives in one crazy alternate dimension. The film required 6 weeks of building, trying out, and perfecting never-before-seen tricks. And the result, according to Van Steenbergen, is everything he’d hoped.

“I put everything I had into this project. Adidas 5.10 gave me the freedom to make the project I wanted to make and the time I needed to push my riding in the way I knew I could,” he said. “I’ve put it all out there in ‘Wild West’ and hope that it gets people excited to ride.”
