“So many lines!!” If you are already familiar with what Dane Jackson does for a living, this video really doesn’t need much introduction.

But, for the sake of the sport, and this place, we’ll provide some context to Dane’s latest greatness: kayaking a variety of lines in Great Falls, a series of waterfalls and rapids on the Potomac River in Maryland, just 14 miles upstream from D.C. Some of the rapids are mild cruisers, some are big and frothy, with drops not everyone should attempt.

“Great Falls is such a dope place, with so many lines at all different water levels. Not only are there tons of lines to hit especially at these flows, it is about as easy to do laps as it gets, so you can get as much as you want!” Jackson prefaced for this video.

Never been? Live vicariously through Jackson’s “joy laps” with friends. And if you make it out there, enjoy the stout.
