For those who want to work out but like variety, Class Pass is a way to hit multiple gyms and save money.
Sweat trickling down the back of my neck, I looked up and couldn’t help but laugh. This was not how I planned to spend my Saturday morning, but thanks to Class Pass, I decided to try something new.
I found myself aggressively jumping on a miniature trampoline while the latest dance tunes blared and our instructor, Cedric, excitedly shouted the next move, “Jump it!” “High knees!” “Higher!”
Available in select cities, Class Pass is a monthly service that allows members to spend the equivalent of a gym membership in exchange for access to your city’s best studios, gyms, and fitness clubs. From yoga, to martial arts, to crossfit, you no longer have to commit. Now you can hop around, trying all manner of classes and gyms.
Class Pass: Multi-Gym Pass
Packages range anywhere from $35 a month for three classes to 10 classes for $100. This might seem expensive, but considering most drop-in yoga or fitness classes average $20 per visit, it’s a solid value. And for people who travel frequently, it’s a great option since your membership gives you access to any class in the 39 cities covered worldwide.
Members receive a login, manage their schedule, and search nearby classes and gyms through both the website and an app.
I found both intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to sign up and cancel classes with ease.
Sure it’s not the cheapest way to stay fit, and routine-lovers will find it pointless. But it is a fun option for mixing things up and discovering the latest and greatest in your city.
So the next time you’re looking for a way to shake it up, Class Pass might be the commitment-less membership you’ve been looking for.
And if you’re ever in the Atlanta area, head over to see Cedric and prepare to smile while you sweat. “Jump it!”
