Beth Rodden is a household name to any rock climber. She was the youngest woman to ever climb 5.14 back in 1998 and for the decade following made headline after headline for her hard sport and trad ascents in the U.S. and beyond.
But injury hit Rodden hard in 2009 (torn labrum in her right shoulder), putting her climbing career on hold. This video, brought to you by Outdoor Research, is about her comeback. Worth a watch for motivation and a peek into the life of one of her generation’s top “rock stars.” —Stephen Regenold
