In his time among us, Marc-André Leclerc displayed an uncanny eye for a line of ascent in the mountains. Two climbers brought one of his unsettled visions full circle.
Brette Harrington and Quentin Roberts each held a special relationship with the late Marc-André Leclerc. Harrington may be the only person to nonfictionally date someone living under a stairwell, and Roberts got pretty close to the visionary soloist in his own right.
They’re also blisteringly good climbers. So it only made sense that after Leclerc died in 2018, the two would assume his mantle and undertake some unfulfilled objectives.
“Marc-André’s Vision” on the East Face of Torre Egger is one such result. Watch the efficient pair, along with Horacio Gratton, quest into blank walls and cultivate stoke that would warm Leclerc’s yet-unresolved heart in this sincere clip.
