Maroon Peak is a notoriously sketchy climb near Aspen, Colo, just full of loose rock and talus. It is also the incredibly beautiful crown of the Maroon Bells, thus thousands of people are enticed to make an attempt at this chossy 14er each year.
A variation on the classic climb connects South and North Maroon Peaks via a knife-edge traverse, and that’s where this video goes down.
The guy in this video has a sketchy moment on a “leap of faith” while attempting the traverse between South Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak.
