Rock Climbing Bears, No Gear Needed

[leadin]We all know that Yogi can climb trees, and we recently posted a video of a black bear dangling from a rope, but this is the first time we’ve seen a bear pulling these kinds of delicate rock moves![/leadin]

Even the young cub shows some pretty solid technique, no sticky rubber needed!

According to the YouTube post by Stephanie Latimer, this video features Mexican black bears climbing a wall in Santa Elena Canyon on March 21, 2014. The Mother and her cub were spotted while kayaking and shared “for your nature loving, rock climbing, suspenseful satisfaction.”
