[leadin]At what point does technology remove too much sport from fishing? In the case of this drone-fishing video, things seem to be moving in that direction.[/leadin]
In the video, created and produced by Sea Ulcer Aerial Media, a drone flies out to sea, towing with it both bait and a fishing line still connected to the operator’s on-shore reel, and airdrops bait directly into a school of tuna.
Watch and you’ll see remarkable efficiency in action. Tuna fishing usually requires an expensive boat, many gallons of fuel, and hours at sea. These guys found a way to bring in some large tuna right from the beach.
