Adding to its tasty — and Gear-Junkie-approved! — lineup, Justin’s Nut Butter is launching chocolate flavors. The line of chocolate-infused peanut, hazelnut and almond butter will be sold in jars and squeeze packs starting in January. (In some markets this fall.)
With about 180 calories and 5 grams of protein per serving, the chocolate flavors rival commodity peanut butter such as a reduced-fat Jif brand. For outdoors types, the company’s 1.15-ounce energy-gel-size squeeze packs let you take PB nearly anywhere.
The almond and hazelnut chocolate butters will retail for $1 for the squeeze packs and $10 for a jar. Chocolate peanut butter squeeze packs will go for 60 cents (jars for $6). www.justinsnutbutter.com
