From heli-ski guide to climbing guide, Leighan Falley knows adventure. But, since having a daughter, she’s taken the thrill of Denali to whole new heights.
It’s no coincidence that Leighan Falley named her daughter Skye. Falley knew when Skye was born, life as a mom would mean big changes. To make time for family, she traded her climbing and ski gear for some aviators and a pilot’s license.
Falley is a true daughter of Alaska. She explored the mountains of Colorado and ranges of Montana, but her home was always near the slopes of Denali.
Her’s is a story about the thrills and dangers of exploring the highest peak in North America, and the real joy of being a mom.
