One of Vosteed’s fan favorites is slimming down for summer. Following user feedback on the current Raccoon, the brand today launches the Raccoon TiSlim — an ultralight and ultra-thin version of the Raccoon.

It comes with many of the well-received features of the original Raccoon, now with a more pocket-friendly and ergonomic design.

Here’s the rundown.

Meet the Raccoon TiSlim

The TiSlim is wicked thin and built to withstand pressure. With a 3.18-inch blade and ultra-slim titanium scales, the knife looks big enough for many daily tasks and small enough to wear in just about every situation.

The brand boasts that it is as thin as three sticks of gum — a claim I am excited to see for myself. Each knife comes with a two-tone thumb stud and a 3D-milled titanium clip. It appears that the clip will be reversible for ambidextrous carry as well.

Vosteed claimed that despite how thin the Raccoon TiSlim is, the grip will remain “ergonomic and comfortable.”

The knife comes in six different handle colors and three blade colors, offering something for everyone. While pricing remains unclear, it is likely to fall into the mid-range price point that has largely defined the brand.

Who Is It For?

The Raccoon TiSlim is made for EDC aficionados looking for a robust build in a more pocketable platform. With a thickness compared to a few sticks of gum, this knife will disappear in the pocket, and its titanium build should allow it to withstand heavy use.

Beyond that, anyone who is using one of Vosteed’s current Raccoon knives may be keen to add a more carry-friendly option to their arsenal.

I’ve been using the current Raccoon for a few months now, and I can only describe it as “burly.” It’s an awesome knife, but I find myself reaching for others more often that fit better in my pocket and are easier to carry discreetly.

The Raccoon carries quite a weight to it, and it’s thick, too. While there is a time and place for a heftier knife, I think the Raccoon TiSlim is going to strike a chord with a larger group of EDC fans who are looking for a knife that can be a primary carry regardless of attire or situation.
