Patagonia just launched a line of men’s underwear that may become your new drawers of choice for outdoor activities and everyday wear.
The undergarment collection is all about “comfort in a nutshell,” according to the brand. The newest Patagonia men’s underwear is made with recycled nylon and TENCEL, fabrics that are known to feel pretty great next to, you know, sensitive areas. And in keeping with Patagonia’s sustainability commitment, the boxer line is entirely Fair Trade Certified.

Two Choices: Essentials & Senders
The Patagonia underwear comes in two types. Essentials are for everyday use, and Senders are designed for performance and sports. The brand claims both pairs of quick-drying undies have a waistband that won’t roll and a functioning fly.
Patagonia made the Essential underwear with TENCEL lyocell and spandex stretch jersey to help wick sweat and breathe down below. Essential 6-inch boxers come in eight colors and patterns, from plain gray to Wild Waratah. The Essential line also includes 3- and 6-inch boxer briefs, plus a hybrid performance option called the A/C. Each pair costs $32-34.
Senders come in both boxer and boxer brief styles at 6 inches, plus a 7-inch bottom called the Hydro Cross Boxer Brief. The performance line combines nylon and spandex in a stretchy micromesh fabric.
And comfortable seams help when you need to move more seriously in your underwear. Patagonia suggests the Sender for active pursuits and travel. A pair of these runs $30.
