One Montreal-based DJ buys a bike on a whim to go for the longest continuous bike ride record. With little to no experience, watch him ride a single-speed in the Canadian Arctic as he reaches his goal of more than 11,000 miles.

JaBig stars in MEC’s film “Escape.” In total, he spent one year, two months, and 21 days on the road. The final push, which MEC joined him for, included cycling on a frozen ice road.

At the time of publication, Guinness World Records maintains Benjamin Woods as the record-holder for “longest journey by bicycle in a single country.” Woods rode 11,758 miles in Australia, finishing on February 10, 2018.
