From Surf to Skate to MTB: Watch This Stoke-Junkie Chase His Shred Fix

Isaac Wallen is a unique guy in the MTB space — full-time videographer, part-time rider. Take a look at how his MTB and creative skills intersect.

Isaac Wallen is a Santa Cruz, California, local whose influence comes not just from bikes, but surf and skate culture too. He’s an insider in the MTB community, and an outsider at the same time. His interests fall across a range of sports. And, his inspiration comes from lots of different places too.

“Isaac, also known as ‘Wally,’ happens to also be able to ride the wheels off a bike, while also being a great human,” Rapha wrote. And by “ride the wheels off a bike,” Rapha means he shreds hard. Like really hard.

So what made this great human go from surf and skate to bikes in the first place? And what inspires him to keep riding? Find out in this short Rapha film.
