8,000 Calories: Reporter Pukes After Eating ‘Tour De France Diet’

An intrepid reporter set out to eat the typical diet of a Tour de France rider, making a heroic effort to down it all in one sitting.

Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation reporter Nicolay Ramm attempted to eat 8,290 calories. It takes Ramm over five hours to consume nearly all the food until he attempts to squirt in a mouthful of sports gel. Things go south pretty quick after that point and he expels most of those calories much quicker than he ate them.

Overall, he ate:

Bowl of Oatmeal

1 Omelet

3 Sandwiches

1 Smoothie

3 Yogurts

1 Orange Juice

1 Apple

100g of pasta

9 Energy Bars

3 Sports Drinks

2 Cokes
