[leadin]A new type of “cycling panty” has a chamois for riding and is made to be worn under casual clothing or a skirt.[/leadin]
Made by Latvian brand ZIB, this cycling underwear is designed to “feel good even on the most uncomfortable seats.”
They look like a good option for commuters or urban riders who don’t want an entire change of clothing after a ride to work or happy hour. ZIB’s product gives a level of added comfort while allowing the wearer to not look all spandexed-out after parking her bike.
The panties are made from Dry-Clim fabric and designed for a snug fit. They have an Italian chamois built into the panties.
They also have a higher back than most panties, ’cause hey, crack is whack!
In order to launch production and worldwide sale of the new chamois sports panties, the ZIB brand started a crowdfunding project on Indiegogo.com, where they sell for $40 (early bird pricing).
There are certainly other chamois panties on the market. ZIB is an interesting new option, including an aesthetic with flowers-and-bunnies print and a “lacy edge.”
We hope to get a first-person test from one of our reviewers soon. In the meantime, check out the Indiegogo campaign for more information.
