Frank Sanders, 62, has climbed Devils Tower more than 2,000 times over 47 years. Along the way, he’s learned a lot about climbing and even more about life.
This film, directed by Fitz Cahall and Brendan Leonard and shot by Forest Woodward, paints a touching portrait of a man with passion for climbing, in particularly Devil’s Tower, where he’s spent his life guiding.
“This is the one place I’ve gone back to, and I find myself quite happy, here at Devil’s Tower,” he says. If we could all be so fortunate.
