Heinous, fun, crazy: A new film, ‘Give Me Back My Bullets,’ follows climber Jackson Marvell as he seeks out the coolest, most unconventional climbs in Utah.

Jackson Marvell, 23, isn’t your typical climber. He likes to tackle some of the lesser-known ice and mixed routes out there. No matter the weather, he’s out there, climbing with style.

In this film by alpine photographer and videographer Ben Neilson, along with Black Diamond, we get a behind-the-scenes look at Marvell and his approach, passion, and process. And there are some awesome shots of canyons, daggers, narrow lines, pillars, and ice along the way.

“Honestly, it’s just the pursuit of adventure — the pursuit of the unknown. You don’t know what the mixed route’s gonna look like, what the rock’s gonna look like,” said Marvell. “You can just go and do what you want to do.”

Marvell tackles a crazy ice pillar, bolts a new route, and more in the film. And the aesthetics just amplify Marvell’s chase for adventurous climbing.
