The world of rock climbing is no utopia. Disputes, controversies, and factional feuds have raged throughout the sport’s existence. From its renegade roots to its increasingly codified present, opinions, methods, and personalities have consistently clashed.

Who are the most hated climbers of all time? Get Climbers Crag’s take. From our POV, there’s little point in vilifying historical explorer athletes participating in a wholly subjective activity — but we’ll acknowledge the creators of this clip indeed identified some suspects.
