In her latest send, the iconic rock climber not only makes 5.14 look like a cakewalk — but she also narrates every single move while doing it.
Even when Sasha DiGiulian is absolutely throwing down, her spoken grammar remains immaculate.
On July 14, DiGiulian sent “Joe Exotic,” a 5.14 route in the Flatirons put up by Matt Samet. She published her first female ascent of the climb on YouTube this week.
By fans’ request, DiGiulian returns to the “narration-while-climbing format,” she explained in the video description. While panting from the exertion, she carefully calls out each smear, backstep, shake, and handhold while smoothly executing each one.
Whether you watch this for fun — or as a tutorial for pro climbing techniques — DiGiulian proves her prowess yet again. Pro (couch crusher) tips: she busts out the try-hard at around 2 minutes.
