Fay Manners and Michelle Dvorak tackle one of the toughest routes on Denali in this captivating documentary from Mountain Equipment.

The Cassin Ridge on the south face of Denali is not for the faint of heart. Pro climber Fay Manners lays out the route at the start of this excellent new doc starring two women alpinists. She calls it a “beautiful line.”

Cassin offers steep and mixed terrain, a knife-edge climb called the Cowboy Arete, and enough altitude to give any climber pause.

“It’s a very committing route. It’s the sort of route you don’t want to get lost on,” Manners says at the start of the edit.

Start prepping for the task by going to school with Manners and Dvorak, as mountain sense prevails.
