Fed Up: Tesla Sedan Muscles Chevy Truck Out of Charging Station

This Tesla Model X owner demonstrates how he handles troublesome gas-powered vehicles.

Electric vehicle owners have increasingly expressed outrage over a bizarre new trend known as ICE-ing. Social media posts show pictures of gas and diesel vehicles — usually trucks — parked in front of Superchargers, Tesla’s refueling ports.

So to make a point, Tesla Model X owner Patrick Lawson showed how EV owners could potentially take matters into their hands. Using a tow strap, Lawson tugged his sister’s parked full-size Chevrolet Silverado away from a Supercharger.

While this sounds impressive, electric vehicles possess incredible amounts of torque. And weighing more than 5,000 pounds, even a Model X stacks up to a Silverado.
