A Race Thru The Jungle… Video Details Epic Adventure Across Belize

Adventure racing is about suffering, slogging and fighting exhaustion for days on end. This video documents the 220 miles of biking, trekking, canoeing and around-the-clock strategy and map and compass navigation it took for the YogaSlackers/GearJunkie team to win the debut Maya Mountain Adventure Race. They trudged on nonstop for three days and nights.

“It’s so exciting and frightening thinking about what we’ve got in store,” says team racer Jason Magness at the beginning of the video. After watching it, I know it takes guts to toe that line. —Sean McCoy
