Klean Kanteen Revamps Wide Insulated Bottle Line

Klean Kanteen’s Wide thermally insulated bottle now has a larger, multipurpose opening. And that’s just one of the many new features Klean Kanteen rolls out with the TKWide.

Fans of Klean Kanteen’s versatile TKPro line now have a new favorite to consider: the TKWide. The wide-mouth opening on this “thermal Kanteen” (TK) marks just one of the updates on the original vacuum-insulated Wide bottle. From top to bottom, the container delivers new design technology to keep beverages ice cold or steaming hot, whether you’re at a desk or on Denali.

Klean Kanteen makes water bottles for all aspects of life. The brand introduced its first reusable, stainless steel, BPA-free, bottle in 2004 as an alternative to single-use plastic containers. Each year, the bottle-maker introduces fresh lines, features, and functions for what has become an unequivocal lifestyle necessity. This summer is your chance to check out TKWide, the most multipurpose Klean Kanteen we’ve seen.

If you buy just one Klean Kanteen this season, the TKWide is a smart choice because of its sheer versatility. Thanks to the bottle’s new specs and cap functionality, you can add onto or upgrade the base bottle as you like.

Here’s what’s inside the all-new Klean Kanteen TKWide.

Top Thermal Technology

Just because it has a bigger mouth doesn’t change the bottle’s powerful insulating properties. The TKWide comes fully loaded with Klean Kanteen’s next-generation TK Closure internal thread design and award-winning Climate Lock double-wall vacuum insulation. That formidable combination helps keep water and electrolyte drinks ice cold, while coffee and tea stay piping hot.

But that’s not all. With its easy-fill opening, the bomber TKWide bottle can even carry beverages like smoothies, kombucha, carbonated drinks, and more.

More Storage Sizes

Along with the new easy-fill, 2.6-inch-wide opening and a specially rounded lip for better sipping, the Klean Kanteen TKWide comes in classic 12-, 16-, and 20-ounce capacities. Plus, it will also offer two new, larger-volume bottles: 32- and 64-ounce guzzlers.

3 Interchangeable Caps

Each of the five TKWide bottles fits three different interchangeable caps with slim profiles, two of which feature easy-carry swivel loops for versatility. In addition, each TKWide-compatible cap comes with a specific convenience feature: Loop Cap for free-flow drinking, Cafe Cap for hot and cold leakproof drinking, and Straw Cap for easy sipping.

With that being said, the new Wide Straw Cap is a clear standout. It comes with a stainless steel straw and a smooth silicone tip, perfect for sipping thick stuff like smoothies and keeping iced drinks away from your teeth.

Better-Threading Sealer

Klean Kanteen’s proprietary TK Closure design is another key upgrade in the TKWide bottle series. Now, a fully internalized threading system means all three TKWide universal caps twist smoothly and securely onto TKWide bottles. Changing from an external to internal sealing design creates a smooth, rounded lip for comfortable drinking and easy cleaning. Plus, it significantly increases thermal performance, which means hot and cold beverages stay that way longer.

All-New Colors

Last but certainly not least (in our opinion) are all-new colors for the Klean Kanteen TKWide. You can show off some personal style with either a vibrant or muted tone for the office or outdoors.

Five TKWide bottle sizes come in nine vibrant colors ranging from sleek, brushed stainless steel to bold “berry bright.” Plus, six hues are now made in a modern matte finish. The brand’s super-durable and environmentally friendly powdercoat finish technology, called Klean Coat, resists chips — no matter how hard you push hydration.
