Ah shoot, forgot Father’s Day again! Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
It snuck up on you again! Never mind you were off the grid for the last week, engrossed in your own awesome adventure. Pops is the one who taught you to be your epic self! Pick up one of these last second gifts. He’ll be stoked.
1. Cairn
Cairn is one of our favorite outdoorsy “of the month club” subscription services. It sends outdoors gear you’d really want, and we’ve discovered some really cool products through the service.
It ranges from basic ($30 a month, $135 for six months, $260 a year) to the new Obsidian, which has a sampling of high-end products for $199 a quarter. The kicker is you get a serious discount on the products.
The Obsidian package contains products with a retail value exceeding $300, the original box contains products of at least $45 retail value.
2. REI Gift Card
Dad loves the outdoors? This one’s a no-brainer. Pretty much everyone who goes outside can find something they want at REI, and you can spend as much, or little, as your budget allows.
3. Nature Box
Every man’s gotta eat. Nature Box is the subscription-based snack delivery service that’s great for making sure your old man gets a healthy dose of healthy food.
The food can meet gluten and vegan restrictions, and is free of artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, and MSG. Choose between five or 10 snacks per box ($20 and $33 per box, respectively), and a delivery schedule of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
4. Craft Beer Club
For $42 per month, pops will receive a 12-pack of cold brews the Club promises contain exclusively “small-production, independent brewers who use only traditional brewing ingredients.” Plus, he can request to not receive any varieties he doesn’t like and whether or not he likes his brew by the can or bottle.
5. America The Beautiful Annual Parks Pass
Sometimes the perfect gift is staring you right in the face — all around you. There may be no gift more long-lasting and meaningful than an annual pass to over 2,000 federal recreation sites — all national parks and wildlife refuges.
Best of all, the pass covers dad and up to three passengers, that probably includes you, the amazing gift-giver. For $80, it’s a great deal for unlimited access to America’s most precious places.
