Think a notepad can’t be high-tech? Think again.
I’m a journalist, so I’ve always had a pretty strong affinity for pen and paper. However, Plei Design’s Kickstarter campaign has lots of writers and outdoorspeople buzzing. The notepad is made with two ingredients: stone and grade 5 solid titanium.
Yup, there’s no wood, pulp, or chlorine. The Nanobook has pure stone paper (which is waterproof, grease-proof, sweatproof, you name it), combined with titanium for extra-strong durability.
For the Nanobook 3.0 (now $37), the brand also made the notebook even lighter and with a new fire-resistant “meteor crater” cover.
Best of all, this notepad could be your new best friend when recreating outdoors. You won’t have to worry about it getting wet, the paper is durable enough to stretch, and you can write on it with anything — wood, metal, a coin, even your own nail. (And of course, you can use regular pens and pencils too.) Not to mention, it’s nearly indestructible composition.
