Regenold was interviewed to talk about bike commuting. (One of the “quests” is “Bike to Work Once a Week.”)
Notes the story, Regenold has bike commuted in Minneapolis year-round for the past 15 years. “We’re a one-car family, and I have to get to work in any weather, so it’s my little time to be active and commune with some sort of nature thing in the city—even in 30-below.”
Bike commuting is among the more tame of the pursuits, which include running an ultra, racing a skimo event, and hiking the Alps’ Haute Route.
