Discover what athletes were really thinking before, during, and after the biggest moments in their careers.

The new documentary series, “Peaking,” follows a variety of athletes and their reactions and emotions surrounding accomplishments, hardships, or hurdles in their athletic life. Produced by Red Bull Media House and premiered on Friday, the eight episode-series takes viewers inside the lives of eight different athletes for 72 hours.

Athletes featured include professional freeride biker Carson Storch, pro surfer Peter Mel, and Olympic mountain biker Jenny Rissveds.

“Each episode is an intimate portrait of an athlete, told in their own words and experienced from their perspective,” reads the show’s description. For some athletes, it’s the first time their story is being told on television.

“Fighting for the No. 1 spot in the world — it’s hard to fathom that dream when you’re a young kid,” said biker Nicholi Rogatkin in the third episode of the series.
