Our resident vagabond troupe, the YogaSlackers, are a group of outdoor athletes and yogis who slackline, adventure race, climb peaks, ski, pack raft, and teach yoga at clinics around the world. Two of the members, Jason and Chelsey Magness, are frequent contributors to GearJunkie.com, and a handful of the ‘Slackers race on Team GearJunkie/YogaSlackers in events like the Patagonian Expedition Race in Chile.

The group is currently en route to India for a few weeks to race in the Rickshaw Run (see video below). Then it’s to Utah for a rendezvous with the GearJunkie crew at the Outdoor Retailer trade show, after which the team immediately packs up and flies far south to race in Chile again for the fourth year in a row.

See below for a few video updates from the YogaSlackers, and be sure to check out their YouTube channel this week if you want to see more from the eclectic bunch, a one-of-a-kind group in the outdoors world. —Stephen Regenold

A stormy day in Oregon this month provided an environmental template for our team, which is currently preparing to compete in its fourth Patagonian Expedition Race in Chile this winter.
