Plywood and marble wheels?! Made for Milan, this one-of-a-kind Specialized racing frame is a tribute to one of the fashion capital’s most eccentric icons.

Specialized designer Erik Nohlin was tasked with creating a standout, unforgettable bike for the Red Hook Crit series race in Milan.

His idea? Create a tribute bike for a fashion industry leader. But not Armani or Prada. He created a bike that Ettore Sottsass, “the only real punk rocker the field of design has ever had,” would be proud of.
