[leadin]Are bungee jumping, zip-lines, or ski jumps just too passé for your adrenaline-fueled lifestyle? Maybe you’d like to try all three at once.[/leadin]
Thanks to some creative and crazy folks in Tignes, France, you can now launch off a ski jump before being caught by a zip-line, upon which you’ll slide while bouncing on bungee cords.
Sound insane (and possibly nauseating) enough for you?
The Bun J Ride Tignes will thrill any able-bodied rider for $70, and you can even ride off it on a bike in the summer.
The rider wears a harness attached on each side at the waist to two mobile elasticated cords. You then travel down a 30-meter runway and drop into a 40-meter void. The cords follow your trajectory, and you eventually travel back to the ground by the zip-wire.
Looking at the video below, it doesn’t appear that this stunt is 100 percent flawless. User error can occur.
So if you’re headed to France, and a normal day of skiing, biking, or boarding just isn’t enough, give the Bun J Ride a look to satisfy the need for speed in three ways at once.
