Rockfall and mountains go hand in hand. But it’s pretty rare that someone captures a landslide of this magnitude. This slide took place on Monday morning, when about 2,000 cubic meters of stone broke away from the Rock of Mel Niva high above the Swiss town of Evolène.

According to reports, the loud noise could be heard through the valley.
