There are definite benefits of being one of the world’s top ski racers and part of the US Ski Team, one being year-round skiing in spots like New Zealand.

“Call it El Niño, the conditions in the Southern Hemisphere this year have been supreme,” reports the Team. “The snow gods paid a visit to New Zealand for both the men and the women, giving them the chance for some powder days and heli-skiing adventures.”
