Beastie Boys Adam Yauch could Shred!

For those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s, the death of Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch today is a definite reminder of human mortality. But when I saw this video on Facebook today I felt even a bit sadder — not only was the guy a great performer, but he could shred a heck of a line on a snowboard!

No wonder he created that gleeful, energetic music that still fuels me up to this day. The man appears to have lived life to the fullest and left us with a legacy of great tunes for generations to come. Yauch died from cancer at age 47. R.I.P., MCA. —Sean McCoy
