An avalanche struck a section of I-70 in Colorado this past weekend. The first-person footage is terrifying.

On March 3, a natural avalanche blew over I-70 near Copper Mountain around 5:00 p.m. Despite the huge plume of snow, no cars were buried and no one was injured.

The avalanche caused the Colorado Department of Transportation to close the highway while snowplows cleared the snow.
