‘It’s true that the energy here is simply amazing. I find it cold and warm at the same time. I’m a fan of this world.’

What happens when six pro athletes who’ve never met or skied with one another, venture together to a remote part of the northwestern Norwegian fjords?

They end up bonding over their mutual love of the mountains, their lust for life, and their passion for adventure — what could be summed up as “Good Medicine.”

That’s the story behind Arc’teryx’s film “Good Medicine,” which follows Maude Besse, Edgar Cheylus, Stinius Skjotskift, Silvia Moser, Stian Hagen, and Loic Isliker. The skiers are thrown into an adventure together without any experience with one another. And they gel like family in no time.

This beautiful little edit is an ode to the present moment. The music is as playful and reflective as the editing. And the shots are cinematography gold. The short movie draws you in so deeply, and so completely, you almost feel like one of the crew. You can almost feel the “Good Medicine” working its magic.

The 10-minute film could have gone on for an hour and a half longer, and it wouldn’t have been long enough.

Arc’teryx nailed this one.

Runtime: 9 minutes
