Bird Just Loves To Ski

As a skier slashes powder turns, a friendly bird starts to follow him down the mountain, even landing directly on his shoulders once or twice. Even after they come to a stop, the curious bird still continues to follow them around.

Kent Simmonds posted this video of Sean Doffes and his buddies skiing in the northern Monashee Mountains near Revelstoke, B.C., on YouTube.

From our best guess, the bird is probably a Blue Grouse, a species native to the region.

We’ve never seen anything like this before but these two guys seem to have a blast with their feathered buddy.
